TOP 10 of 2012

#10

I grew up around family and friends being a fan of the James Bond franchise. From Sean Connery to Pierce Brosnan, but I didn't finally see one until I saw Casino Royale and Daniel Craig was my first experience of 007, and I've been hooked on the Daniel Craig series ever since. I enjoyed Casino Royale, like Quantum of Solace, and I absolutely loved Skyfall. Definitely the best in the series, it takes all the elements of a spy flick and action film in mixes into an exciting film. Daniel Craig gets a lot of beef for his portrayal of Bond, but I enjoy his take on the character. I believe he does an extremely well job portraying the playboy, spy, bad ass that his predecessors were also able to portray. His co-stars; Judi Dench, Ralph Fiennes and the always extremely talent Javier Bardem, all did a fantastic job. Each played their parts extremely well; and were an overall phenomenal cast that drove the story and feel of the film. The story itself was very intriguing and the conflict between Bond and Silva was one of the best between the protagonist and his enemy. And a shout out to director Sam Mendes, for crafting such a wonderful film. This was an overall great film, and I look forward to the next chapter in the Daniel Craig Bond franchise.
